New Pup
« on: February 14, 2021, 01:34:06 PM »
Braved the weather and made the 1100mi round trip journey down near Klamath Falls to pick of this little fella. Had lots of names picked out but ended up going with Griffey.

Pics coming

Two weeks ago, I took Griffey out for his first real hunting trip.  He ran around, had fun, ate some horse turds, listened well, overall success.  Flushed a rooster while he was scent trailing it, but I didn't shoot because he didn't point it.

Last weekend, second trip out and we got into some birds.  It really clicked for him after we got the second bird.  He could tell that we weren't out for just a walk in the field and that there were birds to be had!  Super proud of the pup
